New state of the art LewaPlus™ software design tool for Ion Exchange and Reverse Osmosis membrane systems
The current Lewatit® 5.0 design software will now become a core part of a more comprehensive design tool for water treatment applications. This new and more comprehensive software has been designated LewaPlus™. This new LewaPlus™ design software will include complete calculation services both for Lewatit® ion exchange resins and the new Lewabrane® reverse osmosis membranes. The LewaPlus™ design software will allow the design of both ion exchange systems and RO membrane systems within the same design software module. In addition, access to Lewatit and Lewabrane product data sheets, and MSDS documentation for Lewatit® will be possible from within the software. The combination of these powerful separation technologies within the LewaPlus™ design software provides a unique and convenient tool for the water treatment system designer. Following modules can be calculated with the new software:
- Mixed bed demineralization with Ion Exchange
- Demineralization with Ion Exchange
- Brackish water desalination via Reverse Osmosis
- Calculation of Ion Exchange performance for existing plants (Demi check)
Existing projects of the Lewatit® 5.0 software can be easily transferred to the new LewaPlus™ design tool.
The registration process for the new LewaPlus™ software is quick and easy!
We are requesting our current Lewatit® software users to apply for a new registration for the LewaPlus™ design software. For registration please visit _www.lewabrane.com (Service Center).
One important point to remember. The existing Lewatit® 5.0 design software will be fully functional until August 31, 2012. After that time, the Master Data supporting this program will expire, and the software will no longer function. The existing Lewatit® 4.17 software will remain functional. However, LANXESS will no longer support this version of the Lewatit design software. We strongly recommend that all Lewatit® software users upgrade to the new LewaPlus software prior to this time.
